Entrepreneurship

Tracey Eaton has always had a dream and a vision for himself that transcended the day-to-day grind. He never wanted to be trapped behind a desk day in and day out. He wanted to be out on the field; he wanted to win.

That desire to win, to be the best, and to avoid becoming a corporate cog drove him to pursue entrepreneurship. He had previously been an incredibly successful NFL football player, and once he walked away from that life, he tried his hand at being a stockbroker.

When being a stockbroker turned out to be as draining as it sounds, he knew that he had to find something better. He says of his desire to break free from the chains of corporate life, “I’ve never met a single person in my life that doesn’t want to be free.” He knew the only way that he could truly be free was to go into business for himself.

He also knew that he’d have to fight hard for that success. It wouldn’t be handed to him. He would have to roll up his sleeves and go to work building his dream—and he was happy to do it.

Over the next several months after he decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business, Tracey got to work and hit the ground running, something he was very familiar with at this point. It didn’t take too long before that hard work started to pay off.

He and his wife, Kimberly, went from having a steady $300,000 in the bank at all times to being over $90,000 in credit card debt when neither of them was working to being unbelievably wealthy again once Tracey had built his business in a matter of just a few years. It was certainly a wild ride, but they’re grateful for every moment.

Now that Tracey and Kimberly are totally financially free and have been for several years, they have the time to pursue their true passions, and best of all, they have endless time to spend with their family and friends. They never have to worry about being a part of the daily grind ever again.
